This project featured the complete restoration and conversion to insulating glass at the Schusters Historic Building Apartments. B&D’s biggest challenge on this project was the 6’x8’ sash, which is some of the largest in the Midwest and required new pulleys and customized weights to balance the 150-pound sash.
With three floors and a total of 150 units with an average window size of 5’ x 12’, this project required both equipment and working logistics challenges.
